Job Description
Manager for Iris Park Commons coordinates and supervises the daily operations of a general 45 unit Assisted Living and 16 unit Memory Care Program. The Manager works in partnership with Episcopal Homes Home Care, Culinary Services, Life and other departments to provide 24-hour care, support and life enhancement services. More specific responsibilities and authority include:
This position is Full Time - Regular, Monday through Friday with some weekends and evenings

Overseeing all aspects of operations including staff supervision and relations, service delivery, program planning, marketing, business functions, budgeting, and policy and procedures.
Client and family relations.
Coordinating Home Care and other departments to develop implement and review individual service plans.
Coordinating admission and discharge processes,
Sets up appointments for tours, provides potential clients with information, and completes forms and documents necessary to provide services.
Collaboratively work with the culinary and volunteer departments along with other community agencies to coordinate services.
Engage in regular quality management efforts, audits, related data collection and participates in quality improvement meetings.
Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable State and Federal housing and housing with services laws.
Staff leadership and supervision that promotes good will, staff retention and quality care.
To provide leadership necessary to fulfill Episcopal Homes mission to promote a care philosophy and service environment that is focused on maximizing quality of life for aging adults.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- BA degree and at least one year of supervision or management experience required. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of the aging process, conditions, needs and the potential of older adults. An understanding of MN and Federal rules applicable to housing and assisted living is desired. Knowledge of licensing rules and regulations, funding sources, client rights, HIPAA, is also desired. A demonstrated computer proficiency and experience with or ability to learn electronic health record systems is required. Proficiency in using Microsoft office is required.
