What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at ePlatinumHealth?
Main responsibilities include:
· Answer telephone calls, assist client if possible or direct call as appropriate
· Writing customer and vendor facing letters
· Calling insurance companies to handle client’s various policy issues
· Schedule appointments and maintain the agent's calendar (may involve calling prospective or current clients for follow up meetings)
· Process and file new applications
· Organize and maintain client files and electronic database entries, logging each correspondence in detail (includes scanning documents)
· Assist agent in preparation of seminar-style meetings (includes making location reservations, coordinating rental payments, creating event mailings and other seminar materials)
· Order and stock supplies as needed
Ideal candidate:
· Current or former insurance agent (Health, Life, Accident, Dental, Final Expense, etc.)
· Already or willing to get licensed as a health and life insurance agent in Wisconsin
· Strong work ethic, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
· Organized and thorough
· Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing information quickly
· Empathetic, with a desire to help people
Hours: flexible with days and times, around 25 hours a week
