Location: Bridgewater, NJ (Remote, Field-Based)
A reputable, medium-sized Pharma company is seeking a National Account Director, Wholesaler for the expansion of their Market Access team. The individual in this role will be driving the growth of biosciences products within the national wholesaler channel, focusing on building strong relationships with key decision-makers. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments to align business objectives, strengthen partnerships, and enhance market penetration, ensuring sustained growth and market leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at national wholesaler accounts, acting as a strategic partner to foster the growth and adoption of biosciences products. Focus on aligning these partnerships with organizational goals while responding to evolving market needs.
- Lead and manage negotiations with wholesaler accounts, ensuring all agreements align with financial objectives. Monitor and track contract performance to maintain revenue growth and market share, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet established targets.
- Develop and implement a robust strategy for wholesaler accounts, overseeing product launches and commercialization initiatives aimed at maximizing market reach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and execute successful strategies in the U.S. market.
- Work closely with internal teams, including finance and brand management, to provide necessary resources and tools for effective day-to-day operations. Support activities like financial planning, pipeline assessments, and marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree - Required
- Master Degree (MBA) - Preferred
- 10 years in Pharma / Biotech Managed Markets & Trade leadership experience to include successful new product launch
- 5 years in managing McKesson, or Cencora, or Cardinal, Full Line & Specialty distribution agreemnts and account management
- Prior launch experience of branded / biosimilar products
- Experience in Oncology - Preferrred
*This role will require 25-50% travel, meeting with National & Regional customers, and attending conferences*
Salary : $210,000
