We are seeking a part-time (FTE 0.5), qualified and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans for students with significant behavioral and communication needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for our students.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional behavior assessments, staff performance assessment, etc.)
Develop and write individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and progress reports.
Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
Supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) in grades pre-k to 12.
Provide ongoing support and training for teachers and staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive support plans for students.
Assist in crisis intervention and the development of proactive strategies to prevent behavioral issues.
Participation in individual education plan meetings with parents.
Other related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of consultative experience in the field of ABA (preferred).
Experience working in schools or with children.
Knowledge of NH Special Education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions.
Knowledge of testing instruments and their application to behavioral assessments.
Ability to collaborate with professionals, parents, and the school community.
