What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at EPS Security?
EPS is adding a position to the Coordinator Team to support Service. This person will be responsible for scheduling service tickets based off the needs of the department.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Responsible for processing inbound phone calls, emails, and messages regarding service requests from customer or internal parties and creating applicable service tickets.
- Responsible for contacting customers and scheduling service tickets for EPS branch offices. Scheduling tickets based upon priority, estimated labor time, travel time between sites/technician home location, and customer needs.
- Reschedule technician’s appointments when notified of schedule conflicts by the customer. When scheduling issues arise, determine best way to resolve conflict and maneuver schedule to meet all customers’ needs within technician’s schedule. If unable to do so, work with Service and/or Support Management to determine the best course of action.
- Reschedule tickets when notified of a technician calling in sick if coverage cannot be found.
- Perform administrative tasks in Inspection software (Building Reports) such as reviewing failed inspections and creating service tickets appropriately, aligned with current service procedures.
- Notify Service Manager if we are unable to schedule appointments within current standard of service goals due to current scheduling opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills crucial in communicating with customers and employees.
- Superb organizational skills required to coordinate work.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multitask is essential.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Programs.
- Must be able to type 35 WPM accurately.
- One (1) plus years’ experience in scheduling.
