Duties
- Assist in the assembly of products on the assembly line, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to fabricate components as needed.
- Support warehouse operations by organizing materials and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Utilize forklifts for moving heavy items or materials throughout the facility (certification may be required).
- Perform mechanical tasks as directed, demonstrating basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
Skills
- Experience in a warehouse or factory environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but can be obtained on the job.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance during assembly processes.
