LITIGATION PARALEGAL

EHC is an established Bay Area law firm specializing in trust, estate, and closely held business litigation. Our team is comprised of passionate and effective legal advocates who are considered to be experts in our field by estate planners, mediators, and courts. We have high ethical and moral standards and are committed to civility in the practice of law. EHC is also innovative, using cutting edge technology and with a mostly paperless office. We care about our clients. We are one of the best places to work with most of our employees being long term.

Are you a highly skilled and driven paralegal passionate about achieving exceptional results? We are actively seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team. If you possess the following qualities, we'd love to hear from you:

1. Organized, Detail-Oriented, Effective Communicator, and Critical Thinker: Able to demonstrate a consistent track record of working in a highly organized, well-thought out, and detail-oriented manner. Candidates are expected to be self-starters and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

2. Case Management and Litigation Experience: Hands-on experience with thoughtful, proactive engagement in cases assigned. Candidates are expected to manage documents, assist with discovery, and prepare case filings with little supervision.

3. Familiarity with Legal Tech: Proficiency in using legal technology such as Clio, Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Pro, and Westlaw (or similar programs) is a must. Our firm is primarily paperless, and tech-savvy professionals thrive in our modern practice. Experience with e-discovery is highly valued.

4. Personality Fit: We appreciate authenticity, transparency, directness, a great sense of humor, and vibrant energy. Ability to work well with others in a small team environment. Growth minded with a genuine desire to build skills and learn new things.

Job Responsibilities:

· Maintain familiarity with the Code of Civil Procedure, Probate Code, California Rules of Court, and Local Rules relevant to our practice. Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver comprehensive legal services.

· Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
