Shift Details
1st shift - 7:00AM to 3:30PM (Monday through Friday)
Salary and Compensation DOE
POSITION SUMMARY: Keep building in clean and orderly condition. Perform light and heavy duty cleaning, such as operating motor-driven cleaning equipment, mopping floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending routine maintenance activities, such as checking emergency lighting, notifying management of need for repairs and additions, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain cleanliness of building, using acceptable methods and equipment.
- Utilize various hand or mechanical tools to achieve desired cleanliness.
- Maintain tools in proper condition.
- Report any problems or issues to Supervisor.
- Proper handling of all material, parts and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform sweeping of all floors and surfaces on a daily basis.
- Maintain cleanliness of all rest room facilities on a daily basis as a minimum, or as required.
- Perform minor maintenance duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Maintain all public spaces in a manner to promote a proper image and presentation to visitors.
- Maintain the appearance of the exterior of building by removing litter and other debris.
- Maintain all walks and driveways in a usable and safe condition during adverse weather conditions, as needed
- Errands, post office, bank, deliveries, as needed.
- Must be willing to work throughout production and perform all other duties as required.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
- EXPERIENCE: Up to and including 3 months, with special training in handling of evacuation system required.
- LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Blood Borne Pathogen training. Valid NH Drivers License.
- OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment utilization. Able to read and understand written processes, Material Safety Data Sheets and safety procedures.
