Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Executive Team Alignment & Preparedness: Ensure executives and business leaders are prepared for internal and external stakeholder engagement and that senior body is aligned on key focus areas. Lead governance forums where necessary and create decisioning framework for innovation. Liaise with Business Continuity, Communications, CEO and Senior Leaders in cases of crisis and business continuity matters.
- Efficiency Optimization and Business Transformation: Lead initiatives, optimize processes and create solutions leading to improved efficiency and scale across functions and organization (cost, location, growth). Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives and transformation program delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Advisor and Partner: Will support CEO and Leadership Team as strategic thought partner, providing feedback, advising, and acting as proxy as required. Will collaborate and closely partner with leadership team on creating, defining, and executing business strategy. Ensure effective communication of priorities, risks, and opportunities across the organization. Anticipate risks and opportunities, advising on proactive measures to address challenges and capitalize on strengths.
- Executive Reporting: Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet complex deliverables. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business-wide initiatives (operations, control, risk, people). Consolidate insights, data, and inputs from multiple teams into impactful reports and presentations for the CEO, board members, and stakeholders. Manage agendas, facilitate key discussions, and track actions to ensure timely execution of decisions.
- Senior Staff Engagement & Communication: Provide leadership and guidance to executive / functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Facilitate cross-functional teamwork and communication to achieve organizational objectives. Prepare materials for executive reviews with focus on metrics, data insights and storytelling by consolidating inputs from multiple groups into one consistent deliverable. Partner with senior leaders and the People team to leverage employee engagement platforms and best practices to drive continual improvement in engagement metrics.

- Model and foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability, consistent with the organization’s core values.
- Proven experience in project management, financial management, business management serving in a Senior Chief Administrative Officer, Senior Business Manager or Chief Operating Officer type function.
- Previous experience in governance and controls frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management strategies in global financial services.
- This role is expected to be filled by an individual able to independently make decisions, define approach, organize priorities, manage key stakeholders, and communicate at senior levels of the organization.
- Previous experience identifying opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency.
- Prior experience preparing business reviews and presenting updates to senior leaders, board members, operating committees, and steering committees.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing the allocation of people and financial resources for business execution including but not limited to location strategy, re-engineering, organizational design and financial modelling and budgeting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in strategic roles such as Chief Administrative Officer, COO, or Senior Business Manager within a global financial services organization.
