Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the clinical operations of our mental health services. Duties
- Supervise and support clinical staff in providing direct support and patient care.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
- Oversee the documentation of medical records, including medical terminology and ICD-9 coding.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to mental health services.
- Provide training and mentorship to clinical staff on best practices in clinical counseling.
- Review and evaluate patient care plans, making necessary adjustments based on assessments.
- Facilitate team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mental health counseling with a focus on group therapy and individual counseling.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and clinical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Experience in supervising or managing clinical staff is preferred but not required.
