We are seeking a volunteer Advisory Board Member with experience in sales, marketing, and/or product development who is passionate about scaling impact, introducing new solutions, and mentoring early-stage founders in the EdTech, K-12, and higher education sectors.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, and product development.
- Advise on marketing and outreach tactics to reach education leaders and decision-makers.
- Offer feedback on the platform's growth, positioning, and roadmap.
- Help evaluate opportunities for AI-driven features that support educator workflows, reporting, or coaching – balancing innovation with practicality.
- Guide the company's early-stage revenue, pricing, and investment strategy to ensure sustainable growth while remaining mission-aligned.
Requirements
- Be a strategic thinker with experience in leading an early-stage venture.
- Have a proven track record in bringing products to market, building awareness, and driving user adoption.
- Understand the EdTech space or K-12 education and higher education ecosystems.
- Have awareness of trends, tools, and responsible practices in AI that can enhance learning, management, or data usage.
