Team Overview

We are seeking a Product Strategy Analyst to drive the growth and impact of our DataLend product.

This role requires an individual with deep expertise in financial markets, ideally within securities finance and hedge fund strategies. The ideal candidate will combine market knowledge, analytical thinking, data analysis and excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver market commentary, enable sales initiatives, and build strategic partnerships to expand our product.

This is a highly collaborative role working across teams to ensure the continued success and development of the Data & Analytics product suite.

Role Responsibilities

Develop and deliver market commentary and insights relevant to securities finance and hedge fund strategies.
Drive sales enablement by creating impactful materials and conducting training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to support business growth and innovation.
Identify and create new analytics and signals to be influential in the financial markets utilizing EquiLend's data set.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather and document business requirements for new functionalities and enhancements.
Provide quantitative analysis and support for clients; work with clients to produce bespoke analytics.
Create client-facing reports and presentations using advanced data analysis techniques to present insights in a clear, concise and visually compelling format.
Maintain and enhance data quality, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of client-facing outputs.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on all data products and services, advising clients and internal teams.

Required Skills

5 years of relevant experience in securities finance or the financial services industry.

Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies and their intersection with securities finance.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling market insights.

Proven ability to engage with front-office clients and build long-term partnerships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.

Ability to create screen mockups and deliver presentations tailored to diverse audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.

Experience facilitating discussions with clients and internal teams to drive innovation and improvement.

Experience working with and manipulating large datasets is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
