What does the job involve?
Responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used in offshore energy generation. This includes managing routine inspections and maintenance as well as corrective work on wind turbines and other mechanical systems in the asset that support production and day to day operations to ensure safety and optimal performance. Assure accurate records of inspections and maintenance are retained, adhere to safety regulations and work with the maintenance team when coordination maintenance schedules or repairs.
You are utilizing your knowledge in a specific area to carry out tasks that have a short-term operational impact/risk. You independently complete assigned work, either with guidance or by following well-defined guidelines and procedures, to achieve targets set by others that have an impact on your immediate team. You effectively communicate facts, practices, and policies to individuals within your immediate team and occasionally with external parties. You adhere to established procedures, identify and resolve challenges, seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity, and demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.

This role will be required to support the Prepare For Operations team and will require some initial work in Singapore until October 2025, before returning to the US for the next phase of the project locally.

What will my tasks be?
Within This Position, Your Key Tasks Will Be To
This role will be required to support the Prepare For Operations team and will require some initial work in Singapore until October 2025, before returning to the US for the next phase of the project locally.
- Responsible for all maintenance and repair tasks within the mechanical field, ensuring that operational requirements are met in accordance with governing documentation and company procedures.
- Support in the commissioning and delivery of mechanical systems during project execution prior to operations, including design reviews, acceptance tests, system walkdowns, and handovers.
- Ensure effective collaboration with suppliers and other disciplines to ensure seamless coordination and cooperation. Assist leaders as needed, providing technical expertise and support in decision-making processes and problem-solving.
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and in a timely manner with the required quality standard. Report the history of maintenance activities and ensure that all activities are properly documented and completed.
- Develop and participate in the continuous improvement assessments of mechanical maintenance processes, procedures, and operation manuals. Conduct quality assurance activities and assessing the risk of equipment failures, ensuring that equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and reliable manner.
- Manage modifications of mechanical equipment and systems, including system upgrades, equipment improvements, repairs or implementation of new technologies.
- Perform condition monitoring of WTGs to identify leading indicators of future issues and propose improvements to minimize yield loss. Troubleshoot issues that may arise, such as equipment malfunctions or faults. Lead root cause failure analysis for complex failures.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all mechanical operations. This includes following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

- Bachelor/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical discipline.
- 10 years of full-time experience in the commissioning, operation and or maintenance of mechanical equipment preferably within a wind farm, power plant, manufacturing experience, utility environment or regulated industry.
- Availability to work internationally as an Expat in Singapore.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of SAP work Management Systems or other CMMS.
