As a dynamic nonprofit Christian ministry, Equip Empower includes the ministry of Christine Caine, as well Propel Women. Christine Caine is an activist, author, and international speaker. She also co-founded the global anti-human trafficking organization, The A21 Campaign, with her husband Nick Caine. Propel Women is raising up the next generation of Christian leaders around the world, empowering them with biblical encouragement and equipping them with practical training and education.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Social Media Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Social Media Coordinator role is to support and execute effective communication for Equip & Empower Ministries through social media platforms on both the Propel Women and Christine Caine accounts, including, but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY DUTIES
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
- Assist with the creation of relevant, high-quality social media content that builds meaningful engagement for Christine Caine and Propel Women audiences.
- Work closely with our internal team to gather and create needed information, resources, assets, copy, and graphics.
- Write copy for content when required, and work closely with the team to ensure our voice is consistent across all mediums.
- Utilize basic design and video skills through the aid of accessible applications to support the channels as needed.
- Bring creative content ideas and suggestions to the table.
- Manage and facilitate daily new posts on all accounts and feeds.
STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION
- Execute on strategic social media calendar and strategy by ensuring timely publishing of content across all channels.
- Track Christine Caine and Propel Women’s social media accounts’ daily performance; keep the social media profiles, descriptions, profile pins, Story highlights, and bios up to date to ensure maximum visibility and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with new changes and trends on social media.
- Practice flexibility while fulfilling team requests and being aware of team schedules to make necessary adjustments on social media as needed.
AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT
- Answer DMs, direct tags, and comments. The expectation is to engage and communicate with the social media audience within 24-48 hours.
- Moderate comments, as needed.
- Build and facilitate relevant, engaging conversations with our social media community.
- Follow and adhere to the organizational correspondence processes and protocol.
- Convey insights gained from follower engagement to the Equip & Empower team.
- Work with a team on a rotating 24/7 coverage of accounts and scheduled posts to identify timely reposting opportunities, crossposting Live video/posts, retweets of quality content and testimonials, etcetera (some weekends required).
REPORTING & ANALYTICS
- Regularly review social media reports and assess overall social media impact, growth, and effectiveness.
- Daily monitor the performance of each social media platform daily in light of established goals and strategy.
- Keep a pulse on relevant industry trends and how they apply to our social media performance for both Christine Caine and Propel Women channels.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS - Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
ESSENTIAL:
- Appropriate degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to uphold, safeguard, and promote the organization’s values and philosophy, particularly relating to ethics, integrity, and corporate social responsibility.
- Experience with technology including mobile and desktop versions of social media platforms, design apps, Google Suite, and project management tools.
- Strong, above-average interpersonal, and professional communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and well-organized.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and multitasking.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment.
- Ability to communicate with love, care, and empathy through a brand voice.
- Easily grasps trends in social media and knows how to act proactively.
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures.
- A natural at offering creative ideas and solutions.
- Experience working with teams to coordinate the development of content for social media.
- Fluency in English.

DESIRABLE:
- 2 years of ministry or similar experience.
- Experience with social media coverage for live and/or online events and experiences.

Salary : $44,500 - $56,400
