What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Maintenance Technician position at Equipment Pro, Inc.?
Pump Mechanics make sure pump equipment is in good operating condition by completing the following duties: Inspecting pumps, determining technical issues, completing maintenance and repair work, connecting hoses, reporting deficiencies to management and inside sales team, and writing inspection reports. They must have technical aptitude, troubleshooting, teamwork, time management, recordkeeping, and stamina to be able to be successful in this position.
Must have experience in rebuilding of Horizonal and vertical pumps, Vertical Turbine pumps, split case pumps, gear boxes, blower, compressors, any rotating equipment. Need to be a self starter, motivated, work with little or no supervision, manage time efficiently and organized.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in pump maintenance and repair
- Experience in troubleshooting pump systems
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a mechanical work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
