What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Equitable Advisors?
The Administrative Assistant should have excellent organizational, communication and time management skills. Specifically, the assistant must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity entails working with a Vice President/Advisor of Equitable Advisors.
Primary tasks
Assist Advisors with client service needs
Assist Advisors with educational workshops & client events as needed
Prepare client reviews
Complete & process new business applications
Ability to prioritize projects and manage time
Maintain an organized, compliant, and efficient filing system
Manage calendars and schedule appointments when needed
Answer phone calls and take messages from clients
Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, clients, and financial professionals
Experience:
Must have strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Some knowledge/background in the financial industry a plus, but not necessary. Training available.
Education:
College degree preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
