The position of Technical Support Engineer will report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for supporting all aspects of technical needs of projects and partners. This role will be based in the US Pacific Time Zone to support partners in the Western half of the United States.

The position of Technical Support Engineer will report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for supporting all aspects of technical needs of projects and partners. This role will be based in the US Pacific Time Zone to support partners in the Western half of the United States.
Responsibilities
- Providing the required level of technical support to projects throughout the customer journey from specification to construction and after sales in the Western half of the US
- Building an effective relationship with and to provide the required level of technical support to our local partners (distributors)
- Building an effective relationship with major/recommended installers
- Educating internal and external stakeholders with providing technical, educational, installation and site training as required
- Administrating, implementing, and conducting the Etex EHS and SafeStart requirements and training for Etex Exterior US as a Safety Officer of Exterior US as required
- Assisting with maintaining US certifications and assessments
- Assisting with technical projects and documentation as well as admin tasks
- Administrating and registering claims and complaints in Salesforce and locally as per Exteriors and local claim procedure and management, and assist with the management and assessment of claims and complaints as required
- Providing assistance to US Technical Manager as requested or where required
- Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge by following internal educational resources
- Reside in an area that is in the Pacific Time Zone
- Bachelors degree in Construction/Civil Engineering with additional training or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience in Construction Architecture with background in a technical organization. (Preferred)
- Preferred experience in facade
- Able to understand and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications
- Good understanding of the US construction Code and norms and practices (particularly façade)
- Thorough command of MS-Office (Excel – Word – PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with using Auto CAD (Would be also beneficial to have worked with Revit)
- Strong listening, communication, and presenting skills
- High level of attention to details and organizational skills
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to work and deliver results autonomously with minimal or no supervision
