As an Accounting & Finance (Treasury) Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the financial operations of a national insurance company. You will support treasury functions, financial reporting, and investment transactions while collaborating with experienced professionals. This internship will allow you to develop technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and industry expertise in a professional environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in daily cash positioning, reconciliation, and forecasting.
- Support the monitoring and processing of investment transactions.
- Assist with the preparation & streamlining of the company's Treasury reporting.
- Support the weekly Accounts Payable & NCM check printing, scanning, and mailing processes.
- Save and organize supporting documents for daily journal entry postings to assist Treasury/Accounting.
- Use problem-solving skills to research and resolve issues.
- Take on additional responsibilities to contribute to department and company objectives.
- Collaborate with team members across functions in a positive and inclusive work environment.
What You’ll Bring:
Education:
- Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Prior coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or treasury functions preferred.
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred (e.g., pivot tables and formulas).

- Initiative and willingness to learn in a professional setting.

Physical Requirements:

Compensation and Pay Philosophy:
The pay range for this role is $20.00-$25.00 per hour. This reflects the expected compensation for the position at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity, and may be higher or lower than the posted range.
