*This position is based out of our Westlake, OH office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.
JOB OVERVIEW
The UX/UI Designer researches, analyzes, designs, and creates user-centric experiences across our web and mobile environments. Creates experiences that are both user-friendly and aesthetically exceptional, and leverages insights and business goals to captivate and convert users. Translates complex business requirements into sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The UX/UI Designer performs Heuristic analysis, and creates and facilitates workshops, user research and other research methods to understand user needs and translate them into project requirements. Analyzes feedback and data from research sessions and uses these findings to inform strategy and design decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Lead end-to-end design process, from initial research and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Assess and prioritize experiences with the greatest opportunity for positive business impact
- Conduct user research and gather insights through analytics, interviews, Heuristic analysis, usability testing, surveys, and analytics tools to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Analyze data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement within our digital environments.
- Create journey maps and detailed workflows to organize and structure content in a way that makes sense to users, addresses their needs and enhances conversion.
- Design and deliver annotated wireframes, prototypes, and user flows across a variety of devices that align with business goals and user expectations.
- Drive the creative concepting and visual design of user interfaces, ensuring a seamless, aesthetically pleasing experience that aligns with brand identity and enhances usability across web and mobile platforms.
- Monitor performance of designs post-implementation to improve user experience, engagement, and conversion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the information architecture and content hierarchy.
- Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions that align with brand guidelines and aesthetics and ensure consistency across products.
- Take a customer-centered approach, rapidly testing and iterating on designs.
- Collaborate with a multitude of departments and stakeholders and advise on customer experience design methodology, while balancing the needs of the business and the capabilities of technology.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 4-6 years of UX/UI design experience
- Experience with planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability, and accessibility
- Strong experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, layout
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines like WCAG
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity to gather and analyze data to make informed decisions
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to business partners.
- Passion for UX design and problem-solving to identify user pain points and devise effective solutions
- Ability to synthesize abstract ideas into concrete design interfaces.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and revisions, and changing project requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
- A digital portfolio of past work demonstrating breadth and depth of UX/UI design, conceptual thinking and creative problem solving across platforms.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
