Position : Director of Digital StrategyDepartment : Strategy Status : Full-Time / SalaryLocation : On-Site in Wichita, KS (No remote option available)Responsibilities and ExpectationsJob Description The Director of Digital Strategy is responsible for driving the overall implementation and success of Equity Bank's Digital Strategic Initiatives, including developing strategies, implementing plans, tracking progress, and making adjustments as needed. The Director of Digital Strategy is responsible for developing long-term projects or goals that contribute to the organization's overall mission. This position is strategically minded, an influencer, driver for change and focused on customers and business performance with quality.Job Functions : Identify and assess potential digital strategic initiatives, projects, and partnerships that align with the organization's strategic goals. Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital strategic initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Anticipate potential challenges and risks associated with digital strategic initiatives and develop proactive mitigation plans. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, measure progress, and adjust strategies as needed. Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by exploring new technologies, business models, and market trends. Drive organizational change as necessary to support the successful implementation of digital strategic initiatives. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and the board on the status and impact of digital strategic initiatives. Drive customer acquisition, customer retention, deposit and loan growth, and fee income growth through the adoption of Digital Products and Services. Contribute to the Product Development Process by identifying solutions to meet customer needs. Comply with Written Supervisory Procedures to ensure digital products are functioning as designed, accurate information is being presented, system issues are properly reported, and product releases are properly tested prior to a product release. Gather client feedback, recommend corrective actions to improve the client experience, and work with internal and external partners to deploy those recommendations to the market for client consumption. Establish collaborative relationships to achieve objectives. Recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution. Other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Education Knowledge of product management, business analysis and software development lifecycle. Ability to track and compile KPI data and the ability to prepare graphical and narrative explanations of key trends and pertinent information. Proven ability to drive projects forward and ability to effectively communicate and / or barriers to stakeholders. Bachelor's degree required in Business Finance, MIS, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 3 years of Digital Product / Strategic development experience preferred. 2 years of Web and / or Mobile platform / product experience preferred. Deep understanding of project management best practices and strong organizational skills Ability to leverage organizational change management practices to drive successful business outcomes. Consistently demonstrates good judgment, critical thinking, and creative solutioning.
