Equity Dermatology PLLC and Equity Medical LLC are actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our clinical trial research business as a sub-investigator. During your time with us, you will also be involved in our dermatology practice and be trained one-on-one to be a dermatology advanced practice provider and sub-investigator. Importantly, this job requires a three-year contractual commitment as we will be investing in your success. This position is full-time (40 hours per week).
General Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performs specific duties delineated by supervising physician.
- Once adequately trained, evaluates and treats dermatologic conditions for all age groups, including children.
- Once adequately trained, performs patient education for dermatologic conditions.
- Once adequately trained, performs minor dermatologic procedures.
- Once adequately trained, performs clinical research assessments and activities consistent with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines
- Once adequately trained, functions as an independent research assistant ensuring compliance and quality of work consistent with expectations of the principal investigator, study sponsor, other study partners (such as clinical research organizations), and/or other regulatory entities.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with an active medical license in Kentucky. Willingness to obtain a Tennessee medical license and occasionally travel to Northern Nashville, including for advanced dermatologic training.
- Able to perform high level medical judgement and decision-making skills
- Capable of developing excellent dermatological skills
