Equity Staffing is looking for a CAD Drafter for one of our clients in the Overland Park area.
As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in transforming initial designs into working documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software. If you have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience with AutoCAD, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs
- Utilize CAD software to refine preliminary product concepts into functional blueprints
- Examine engineering drawings and designs to verify compliance with predefined specifications and industry standards
Requirements
- 0-4 years of related experience in drafting or design
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient with AutoCAD (2007 or higher) and Microsoft Office products
- Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and advanced written and verbal communication skills
