We’re looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join the EquityZen team as we redefine private markets. In this role you will work together with sales, marketing, operations, product, and other teams to develop and execute on initiatives around analytics, process improvements, and growth.
EquityZen’s marketplace connects buyers and sellers of shares in pre-IPO companies. Our 710K clients range from individual investors to early startup employees, private companies, VCs, family offices, investment advisers, and other institutions. Over the past 11 years, EquityZen has completed over 44,000 company-approved private market transactions in over 450 late stage companies. By automating an antiquated offline process, we’ve led the charge in building more efficient, cost-effective, and transparent private markets for investors and shareholders of all sizes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver analyses and insights to power strategic decision making across the company, with a focus on go-to-market (GTM) performance
- Own our GTM and analytics tech stack (e.g. Salesforce, Salesloft, HubSpot, Tableau, SQL, MixPanel)
- Work with our Sales team to develop and execute playbooks for lead generation and sales & deal communications (e.g. emails, call scripts, sales collateral)
- Own our sales data capture initiatives and use that data to produce reporting and analytics to guide sales assignments, track our pipeline, and measure & improve sales performance
- Support our Marketing team in measuring the performance of marketing initiatives including lifecycle & email marketing and digital advertising
- Analyze key business metrics to uncover constraints to and opportunities for growth, then work with stakeholder teams to run experiments and implement scalable growth strategies
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements
THE RIGHT STUFF
- 2-3 years work experience in an analytical or technical field
- Data analysis skills (querying, visualizing, interpreting, communicating) as demonstrated by proficiency in SQL (or similar language) and experience with Tableau (or similar tool)
- Highly organized, works hard and smart with attention to detail
- Collaborative approach with ability to listen, communicate, and work effectively across functions including marketing, sales, operations, and product
- Familiarity with CRM and sales & marketing enablement tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, and/or HubSpot
- Self-motivated and results driven
BONUS POINTS
- Advanced data analysis skills and/or admin-level proficiency in aforementioned tools
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL tools
- Knowledge of the venture capital and larger financial services industry
SALARY RANGE
$85,000 - $95,000
