Job Description
In this Talent Engagement role, you will be an integral part of the Operational team, responsible for greeting clients, client outreach, and appointment scheduling. In this role, it is integral that you manage client information in the database and see each client through to completion. You will support the team by gathering needed data and generating reports. In this role, you will also assist with new participant orientations and assembling all necessary informational materials or packets.
In this role you will:
- Respond to voicemail messages and emails within 24 hours of receipt
- Schedule client orientations
- Seek out process improvements to improve the company
- Conduct orientations
- Reach out to referrals
- Enter Data in Caljobs
- Travel to partner organizations as needed for enrollment orientations and documents
- Submit applications to QA for approval as needed
- Participate in Job fairs and answer client questions
Qualifications
- Related Associate degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience
- Related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources
- One to three years’ experience in workforce development or related programs preferred
