Job Summary:
The Dispensary Manager will oversee and direct the daily activities, schedules, and assignments of employees in storage, inventory, and distribution of materials and tools. Responsible for sales, compliance, social media, patient retention and the overall general success of the Dispensary.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interviews, hires, and trains budtenders.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Assigns jobs and projects to staff to ensure that deadlines are met safely and accurately.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees receipt and verification of incoming shipments; ensures materials are unloaded, stored, and verified according to policy.
- Ensures that an accurate inventory record of finished goods is maintained in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensures orderly storage of incoming shipments and finished goods; maintains detailed records of available products and their storage locations.
- Conducts regular inventory checks, random checks on at least a weekly basis, and thorough checks on at least a monthly basis.
- Communicates results of inventory reviews to manager; collaborates with manager to schedule future shipments.
- Delegates fulfillment of customer orders to staff; maintains inventory database when orders are fulfilled.
- Maintain high standards, practices and follow all Company SOP’s

- Educated with all products offered and methods of use
- Organized and accurately complete all work in a timely manner
- Efficient with inventory processes, transfers, sales and supplies
- Proficient at record keeping for patients, customers, MED and Company data
- Ability to follow directions, perform duties with a positive attitude, take feedback, communicate well with others, lead a team and learn new tasks
- Proficient with the POS system, email communication and computer skills
- Upholding team members to Company standards and training new team members
- Giving critical feedback to team members
- Being comfortable and confident in dealing with disgruntled customers
- Following company social media posting protocols
- May be required to be on-call and to respond to emergency situations
- Work directly with store manager to insure all employees are trained on safety, security and MED (or state and local authority) compliance policies
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
- Work with store manager to complete monthly audits
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of the store
- Attend and coordinate special events
- Ensure effective communication between entire team
- Sending invoices and submit change/cash order
- Perform other official duties as assigned
