Commercial Plumbing Sales Representative
Position Summary : This position is responsible for generating sales of plumbing products and services to commercial clients. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with business owners and property managers to promote and sell plumbing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the plumbing industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales and Business Development :
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
Identify and target potential commercial clients on a local and regional basis.
Develop and execute aggressive prospecting programs with target customers.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth targets.
Utilize in-house technical expertise as needed to develop solutions.
Prepare and present sales proposals to clients.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct site visits and consultations to understand client requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on client inquiries.
Product Knowledge and Promotion :
Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and industry standards.
Promote the benefits and features of plumbing products and services to clients.
Stay updated on new products, technologies, and industry developments.
Sales Administration :
Prepare and submit sales reports using our forecasts, and other documentation as required.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in Service Titan CRM.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, project management) to ensure successful project execution.
Negotiation and Closing :
Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements / contracts.
Close sales deals and ensure contract terms are met.
Assist with any post-sale issues or concerns to maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Education : H.S. diploma or equivalent.
Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the commercial Plumbing and / or HVAC industry.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand technical aspects of Plumbing and HVAC products and services.
