ERC has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Engineer located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The Electronics Engineer position supports the Redstone Test Center’s (RTC) ECE Division in the area of Radio Frequency (RF) testing to MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD-464, ADS-37A-PRF. This position will serve as an Electronics Engineer for Army Ground, Missile, and Aviation systems and subsystems and provide instrumentation design and support for electromagnetic environmental testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a Bachelor's in Engineering in designated area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university.

3 years of experience performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft; and conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
- 3-5 years of reading and drawing electrical schematics.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, TEAMS, OneNote) and well organized.
- Excellent written and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work independently or with a highly diverse team to include technicians, engineers, technical writers, and subject matter experts.
SECURITY CLEARANCE Secret (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Engineer 3-5 years of experience
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Altium, Autodesk, and C coding is preferred. Experience with soldering, using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers, function generator operation, FPGA and PCB design is preferred.
- Familiar with MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, Ethernet, and video/audio standards are preferred.
- Design experience or familiarity with RF hardening is preferable.
- Experience or familiarity with electromagnetic environmental effects principles is desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform testing primarily in the areas of instrumentation of missile, ground, aviation, and sensor systems.
- Planning, installing, and modification of instrumentation systems for missiles, aviation, and sensor systems.
- Maintain lab area, lab equipment, and instrumented test assets in an organized manner.
- Will work closely with customer design teams to generate instrumentation requirements and instrumentation system solutions to capture required project data.
- Work independently and interact with test project engineers and test support staff.
- Provide assistance during safety documentation development.
- Participate in document peer reviews for captured test data completeness.
