Join The Team:
ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Senior Technical Services Engineer to join our IDI Technical Service team! This position will retain and increases customer base through technical application and training of chlorine dioxide use in municipal, oil & gas, food, domestic water and industrial markets. Once a sale is eminent, the prospect will be transitioned over to the sales organization, which will handle the new account acquisition.
The Role:
Works directly with customers in training and application of Chlorine Dioxide technology to maintain and improve company market position.
Validates the performance of chlorite and chlorine dioxide for applications in the field.
Develop and provide customer & distributor chemical and equipment training.
Communicate prioritized account status and opportunities to supervisor, sales and engineering.
Assist with trouble shooting at existing accounts.
Assist with Chlorite and PurDOX equipment sales involving the sales organization.
Make technical suggestions regarding modifications to product performance and serviceability.
Provide input to the service schedule to help ensure that it meets the contractual requirements with each customer account.
Oversees all Chlorite and PurDOX equipment sales involving the sales organization to minimize sales involvement from a time management.
Attend trade conference and present papers to the industry.
Leads ClO2 technical forum presentations and discussions to customers in support of sales team.
The Person:
Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering is required
Master’s in Chemical Engineering is preferred
10 years in water treatment/engineering industry
CIO2 industry experience is an asset
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Time and project management experience with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
