What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Bridge Inspector position at Erdman Anthony?
An experienced NICET Level III Senior Inspector is needed for the bridge rehabilitation of I-86 over Chautauqua Lake in the town of Jamestown, New York for NYSDOT Region 5. This is an on-going multi-season construction project with completion in 2027.
Responsibilities
- Oversee contractors' work to ensure conformance to contract documents
- Supervise work of other inspectors
- Address field and design changes as necessary
- Prepare daily work reports documenting completed work for payment to contractor
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of bridge related construction inspection experience.
- Efficient with the use of Site Manager.
- Provide a detailed resume highlighting your bridge experience and a minimum of two client references.
