What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Technical Assistant (Office) position at Erdman Anthony?
The Transportation Technical Assistant (Office) will assist with the construction inspection services on a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) project.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of inspection and documentation of a wide variety of construction activities by the contractor confirming all work is being done in accordance with specifications under the supervision of a construction inspector.
- 80% of time will be located in office setting with responsibility for certifications, work orders and estimates.
- Maintain daily paperwork in accordance with clients’ requirements
- Learn how to read and interpret contract and job specifications
Requirements
- Perform basic math calculations
- Proficient computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Valid driver's license required
- Proven dependability
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Construction experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow your career
