Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dock Supervisor for our busy distribution center in Santa Teresa, NM. The Dock Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising and leading a team of dockworkers in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers and trucks.
Specifics include but are not limited to:
- Documenting all dock activities, including loading and unloading times and trailer inspections.
- Establish and implement department SOPs and company-wide guidelines for shipping and receiving small parcel goods and LTL freight domestically and internationally.
- Manage and maintain dock door schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely dispatch of shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move freight safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the inventory management of dock supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure smooth flow of goods through the distribution center.
- Train employees in use, maintenance and recordkeeping on company vehicles and heavy lift machinery.
- Train and develop dockworkers on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the dock.
Experience Requirements:
2 years warehouse or distribution center experience; preferably in a supervisory role.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
