Ergon Refining, Inc. in Vicksburg MS currently has an opening for a Production and Inventory Coordinator position. The Production and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for all refinery, terminal and fuels terminal inventory reconciliation and reporting. Also reviews production planning & schedule, compiles production and oil movement reporting and provides supervision of the Operations Co-Op program..
Production and Inventory Coordinator Qualifications:
- B.S. in a technical field, preferably in Engineering or Accounting, with at least one year of relevant experience, desired.
- Have the ability to work with others
- Ability to work independently
- Must be self-motivated with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills with experience in using and troubleshooting various software applications.
- Have typing, 10-key and computer skills
- Have excellent phone skills
- Be able to utilize time and workspace efficiently
Production and Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains and supervises the Operations Co-Op program

Inventory
- Oversees the daily and monthly inventory reconciliation processes, recommending and implementing improvements to streamline inventory management for both the refinery and fuels terminal
- Assists Accounting department as needed to resolve any and all inventory discrepancies and issues
- Supervises the Inventory Specialist and acts as a direct backup for all specialist duties
- Handles all inventory and production reporting including daily production, EIA filing, EPA filing, etc
- Compiles monthly reports for ERI Operations, monitoring on-stream efficiency, capacity utilization, unit downtime, and other oil movement and production related KPIs.

Crude Barge Reporting
- Report mid-month and end-of-month Receiving and Shipping reports to group
- Send information pertaining to the September tax report to Tax Manager

Inventory Management

Daily
- Reviews daily inventory prepared by the Traffic & Inventory Specialist

Monthly
- Responsible for developing and compiling the monthly inventory master file and submitting to the Production & Planning Supervisor at the beginning of each month

Daily Production Summary
- Prepare and submit the daily production summary document

EIA Reporting
- Prepare and submit weekly EIA filing for both the refinery and terminal per the prescribed job aids

EPA reporting
- Prepare the monthly EPA reporting file per the prescribed job aid

Bi-Weekly Production Outlook
- Develop and issue a bi-weekly look back and forecast of planned production
- This would be a single page projection report sent to Operations Management & Process Tech for the production look over the past 14 days

Bi-Weekly Product Look Ahead Meeting
- Update tool communicating Actual vs. Planned for products for the previous 14 days

Crude Hedging Report
- Prepare the weekly update on raw crude charge to the Commodity Risk Manager

Production Schedule Review
- After inventory entry for the day, review SKU's in Production Schedule software (AUS) for discrepancies on all feedstocks and products

Verify adequate inventory levels based on upcoming production runs and/or product blends
- Report discrepancies or variances to the Production & Planning Supervisor and/or appropriate Area Managers

Crude Logistic Spreadsheet
- Update and maintain the master document for weekly crude call

NaHS and Caustic Reporting
- Send out NaHS and Caustic sample report to group
- Send out Bi-weekly NaHS and Caustic (2) week look-a-head to TDC to help communicate upcoming logistics schedule
- Provide backup to tasks performed by the Traffic and Inventory Specialist as needed

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. A clean MVR is required.
