Job Description: This position is responsible for the prioritization of orders into a daily/weekly production schedule, procure and scheduling of raw materials and packaging goods, and communication with all parties. This job posting is at our Ergon Armor Kansas City, KS location.

Duties Of Job

• Provide commitment and leadership consistent with Ergon's culture, core values and Ergon Armor's mission/vision statements and Safety Policy
• Knowledge and practical use of Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Scheduling tools
• Work closely with the Supervisors on daily/weekly activities to ensure production demands are met and completed in a timely fashion
• Manages and updates production schedule to meet customer delivery requirements as needed
• Liaison between operations and customer service representatives for product ready dates and/or changes to production schedule
• Identify and resolve problems related to inventory, including raw material inventory and finished goods inventory and reconcile in MRP
• Create process orders in SAP Planning function
  
  

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in a management role in a manufacturing environment or 3 years in a planning role
• Possess critical thinking skills and basic mathematics
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Possesses excellent organizational and time management
• Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum
• Proficient with computers and computer software, including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of management information system for enterprise resource planning
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, shipping and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Possess knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and how these requirements apply to the transportation of materials.
