Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our sealant manufacturing plant in Halls, TN. The position will be responsible for the safe operation of all mixing and storage equipment as well as ensuring that the manufacturing of all sealant products is completed in accordance to guidelines and formulation instructions set by the engineering department.

Specific Duties Include
- Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of sealant manufacturing including proper coaching and training of assigned personnel to ensure and maintain an efficient and safe operation.
- Supporting company's Target Zero safety initiative to create an incident and injury free work environment.
- Developing and leading a cross-trained workforce
- Mixing various raw materials per batch forms and following instructions created by sealant engineering.
- Continuously improve plant performance by utilizing KPIs and through process improvement initiatives.
- Leading Department Daily Management Meetings
- Leading and performing root cause analysis when problems occur as well as individual performance evaluations
- Maintaining established quality standards for packaging, labeling, palletizing, handling, and storage of Crafco products.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to order and maintain appropriate levels of supplies and materials.
- Weekly inventory cycle counts to track and help ensure inventory accuracy.
- Control the costs associated with the operation of the department including labor, overtime, supplies, scrap, and tooling as outlined in the departmental budget.
- Managing inventory storage tank levels for asphalt & scheduling inbound and outbound tanker trucks for the roofing department.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience with production supervision in manufacturing or plant operations
- Quality certifications, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement backgrounds are preferred
- Computer Proficiency including email, Word, Excel, and MS Office applications and proprietary systems
