Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments effectively using medical scheduling software.
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality is upheld.
- Process insurance information, including Medicare, and verify patient eligibility.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered at the clinic.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office management practices and procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in using 10 key typing for data entry tasks accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records management is advantageous.
