Eric Scott Leathers, LLC. is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Include:
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, complying with all OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations.
- Understand and implement safety guidelines as appropriate to maintenance area (lockout/tagout, forklifts, scissors lifts, etc.).
- Promote and maintain 5S environment.
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment (with a strong emphasis in sewing machines and automated stitching equipment) by completing maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, tools, etc., and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance (with a strong emphasis on stitching equipment) to ensure quality performance of production and maintenance equipment.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Communicate pertinent machine issues and/or information to team members.
- Provide timely maintenance assistance to production as required.
- Make recommendations on any new equipment, parts, tools, etc.
- Work with team on new product introductions, cell layouts and flow.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Perform basic building maintenance for entire facility.
- Ability to comprehend electrical controls and schematics.
- Stay current with codes to make sure Eric Scott stays in compliance.
- Perform basic use of all hand, power and carpentry tools as required.

REQUIREMENTS (Training/Education):
- Proficient in sewing machine repair or willingness to travel to receive training
- Experience in general maintenance
- Understanding of OSHA requirements
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Products/Internet, etc.)
- Working knowledge of general maintenance, general repair, and general upkeep of production equipment.
- Working knowledge of structural, functional and machine components of mechanics.
- Reading, writing and math skills commensurate with job duties.
