ERA seeks a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer who is interested in growing a rewarding career. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible to work with a variety of clients including architects, owners, and contractors to create structural designs and construction documents within a team setting. You will coordinate with project partners and assist with executing the structural design.
As a member of our structural engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate project plans on time and within budget, consistently exceeding client expectations. Your responsibilities will include performing structural analysis of buildings and other structures using the latest software, and designing structural systems with concrete, steel, timber, and other materials. You will collaborate with project partners and clients, bringing a service-minded approach to solving complex problems. Additionally, you will coordinate with the internal team on design drawings and report preparation, and work closely with construction partners to ensure a smooth construction process.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Project Coordination
- Perform structural analysis and design of buildings using concrete, steel, timber, and other materials
- Collaborate with PM’s and Modelers to prepare construction documents
- Attend internal kickoff meetings and external coordination meetings
- Develop designs for structural systems and project specifications
Documentation and Quality Assurance
- Create and maintain accurate project calculations and drawing packages
- Conduct drawing reviews for internal QA and interdisciplinary coordination
- Identify and communicate unusual design conditions or scope changes to Project Managers
Construction Support
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Respond to RFIs and perform field observation visits as needed
- Evaluated special inspection reports and address deviations from design documents
- Support construction partners in resolving field issues efficiently
Administrative & Client Facing Duties
- Read and interpret project proposals to understand scope, schedule and budget
- Work with PMs to align engineering tasks with budgeted hours
- Engage in legacy knowledge transfer to ensure continuity of client relationships
- Help ensure repeat business by understanding and delivering on client values.
Hours
- Full Time - Exempt 40 hour work week
- In – Person Core Office Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm Monday- Thursday
- Friday Flex – 9:00am-12:00pm
