The Learning and Development Manager is instrumental in designing, implementing and leading a company-wide comprehensive suite of development programs aimed at building the future leaders of Erickson-Hall. This position supports and enhances our organization’s strategic initiatives around career pathing and leadership growth for our teams. This role plays an integral part in our organization's culture by fostering an educational environment preparing our teams to meet the challenges of today and the growth opportunities of tomorrow.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in a variety of departments to build comprehensive career paths, talent program calibration, training offerings, which are aligned with the company’s goals.
- Participates in strategic and tactical planning for a variety of training offerings inclusive of training logistics, materials, technology needs, and quality assurance.
- Maintain company training LMS ensuring accuracy of data, certification renewals, and tracking of training systems/needs.
- Communicate with vendors, plus external and internal partners regarding contracts, scheduling, tracking, program expenses, and serve as the liaison with accounting for submission of invoices.
- Maintains the calendar of all training events, ensuring meticulous program management, collaborating with members of the HR Team, to deliver high-impact programs, bridge skill gaps and equip employees for success at Erickson-Hall.
- Collect and analyze participant feedback, content, and instructor reviews to enrich program offerings as needed.
- Compose, edit, and distribute communications and other marketing materials for training programs.
- Maintain training request lists to ensure maximum attendance for training offerings.
- Conduct training needs analysis through surveys, interviews, and attendance in focus groups.
- Be aware of industry trends and hot topics within our industry to enhance the training offerings.
- Review and stay abreast of any new training methods and approaches which can enhance training efficiencies.
- Provide management with reporting on specific or company-wide training accomplishments as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum eight years of progressive organizational learning and development experience.
- Proven background in program management and a track record of designing and delivering successful development programs.
- Three to five years of construction industry training experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of training and development, performance management, and workplace learning.
- Ability to apply knowledge to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
- Graduate of a four-year degree program preferred.
