Job Description:
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering learning solutions that align with organizational initiatives. This includes developing and implementing New Hire Orientation, Leadership Development, Guest Service initiatives, and other programs that bridge skill gaps.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging training programs that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Deliver training sessions using various formats, including group discussions, lectures, workshops, and simulations.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, test results, and retraining requirements.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager and Business Partners to identify effective approaches.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in learning and development.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in delivering training in a business environment.
- 2 years of experience in facilitating Leadership, Coaching, Performance Improvement, and similar business-related topics.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
- Training experience in a casino, hospitality, retail, or food and beverage industry.
- Knowledge and experience with data collection methods.
