HOURLY RANGE: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour Comprehensive Benefits Package
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide the Director of Human Resources administrative support as well as primarily focus on Erie Events recruitment, and onboarding for all Erie Events facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or related field or 2-3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Proficient experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organization, prioritization, project management skill set.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic.
- Ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAIL:
- Oversee UKG Recruitment Gateway supporting Erie Events daily hiring activity.
- Post Erie Events job openings to various sourcing outlets as needed.
- He/she will provide constant support to all department heads regarding their hiring needs.
- Attend onsite/virtual job fairs as needed.
- Conduct criminal background checks, and motor vehicle record checks.
- Add, maintain, and remove employees on Erie Events auto insurance.
- Execute adverse action notices to candidates based on background check results.
- Research, identify, and implement fresh recruitment strategies to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community contacts and organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
- He/she will oversee the UKG Onboarding Gateway and process all new hires.
- Create and distribute photo ID Badges to new employees.
- Create full-time onboarding benefits packets.
- Create part-time pay increase letters, and process wage adjustments in UKG.
- Process termination requests as needed.
- Process wage garnishments and employment verification requests.
- Participate in various management and employee trainings as needed.
- Schedule full-time interviews.
- Coordinate and maintain ACT 235 cards for the Erie Events Security department.
- He/she will maintain, and update Erie Events Text Alert and UKG Communication Broadcast systems.
- Oversee Erie Events Employee Referral program.
- Oversee talent gateway in UKG. He/she will coordinate and oversee the part-time performance review process.
- Assist Director of Human Resources with completing annual EEO-1 and EEO-4 Reporting.
- Assist Director of Human Resources in annual Worker’s Compensation audit.
- Attend DEI trainings in an effort to develop a committed DEI program and knowledgeable organization.
- Create quarterly Erie Events HR Newsletters utilizing Canva/Mailchimp.
- Provide payroll assistance as approved by the Director of Human Resources.
- Assist with ACA compliance and part-time hours tracking.
- Complete daily, monthly unemployment claims.
- Assist in as needed unemployment hearings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assist with projects, and filing as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
