Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace with 13 sites in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Patient Access Operations team! The Clinical Application and Training Analyst supports end-users with Erie's Electronic Health Record, Epic and related applications in ambulatory care, safety net setting. In this role, the Analyst assists EHRS Leadership with all facets of the maintenance and optimization of Epic and core modules including Wisdom, Healthy Planet, Patient Portal, and other associated technologies. The Analyst is the on-site application expert, end user training and support person, and technical support for testing and for maintaining member-managed components of the software.

Compensation is based on each candidate’s experience, skills and education within the range identified for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements of the role will start at entry in the range. Any additional skills, experience and education will be reflected in the compensation offered.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides direct support to clinical operations and patient care teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Epic application in the clinic.
- Provides daily support to Epic applications users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting.
- Coordinates and provides all necessary training to new clinic staff and providers (coordinate issuance of ID and password and provide go-live support) and partners with Leadership to identify team members needing support in optimization.
- Provides competency/efficiency training for existing users and supports upgrade training.
- For EMR, works collaboratively with clinicians and in concert with established EMR processes to manage requests for additions of diagnoses and procedure codes to the system. Manages the requestors expectations until request is satisfied.

Qualifications
Education
- 1 year of experience in Health IT with Bachelors degree or 3 years experience in Health IT with an Associates/AAS level of education or equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant HIT/EHRS role required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience working with and supporting Health Systems and teaching experienced and inexperienced EMR users or related technical concepts, required
- Experienced as a trainer/ educator for new users in HIT related systems, preferred
- Knowledge of the EPIC software and EMR integration into clinical workflows in all aspects of health care preferred
- Ability to visualize and understand complicated and diverse clinic workflows and how the EMR is integrated into all aspects of health care operations.
- Strong Internet connection, minimum MBPS 75 when working from home
- Must adhere to hybrid and on-site work schedule as required by department
