We invite you to be part of a talented team providing full-scope Family Medicine Physician with Precepting services at Erie Family Health Centers.
Erie is a visionary community health center delivering high-quality care to over 80,000 diverse patients across 13 locations in Chicago and the northern suburbs.
All Erie sites qualify for NHSC with a HPSA score of 19.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve health outcomes and well-being in underserved communities.
- Provide ongoing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Train the next generation of community-oriented primary care physicians.
- Collaborate on maternal and child health (deliveries, postpartum, and newborn care) and Family Medicine Service (adult care) inpatient teams at Swedish Hospital, part of NorthShore, if desired.
- Pursue opportunities for education, leadership, research, advocacy, and career growth.
- Partner with nearby hospitals to offer our patients imaging and specialty care regardless of their ability to pay.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed physician in Illinois.
- Federal DEA license and Illinois Physician's license.
- Board Eligible or Certified in Family Medicine.
- Interest in working with diverse patient populations.
- Bilingual preferred - Spanish.
