Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting and financial reporting.
- Lead human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Monitor revenue management practices to maximize profitability while maintaining high service standards.
- Foster strong guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize operational efficiency across all areas of the hotel.
- Maintain effective communication with staff through regular meetings and updates.
- Ensure the hotel meets all health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including guest services, budgeting, human resources, and revenue management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with guests and staff alike.
- Familiarity with hotel phone systems and other operational software is preferred.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
