Your Role as VP of Finance:
- Oversee all financial operations, including hotel and corporate accounting teams.
- Drive profitability and financial health by monitoring cash flow, reserves, and accounts receivable.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to executive leadership, ownership, and hotel teams to optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with operations and key stakeholders to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and efficiencies.
- Spearhead the creation of forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP, modified cash basis, cash basis accounting) and management agreements.
- Lead financial audits, tax planning, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performance finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
What You Bring to the Table:
✔ Proven Leadership – 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a track record of success in high-level financial management.
✔ Hospitality Savvy – Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.
✔ Technical Expertise – CPA certification required, along with a deep understanding of GAAP and financial controls.
✔ Strategic Thinker – Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
✔ Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with M3 Accounting is a plus.
