Position Overview:
The Erlanger Health System is seeking a highly skilled OB/GYN Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team. As an OB/GYN Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN exams, under the direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor and/or OB/Gyn physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and produce high-quality images
- Interpret ultrasound results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Communicate effectively with healthcare personnel to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- ARDMS registered or registry eligible by the ARDMS
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience in ultrasound
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certified and BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and maintained going forward
