GSE Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Familiarization with and training on all ground service equipment for company and vendor. 
• Ensuring that company employees are properly trained on all equipment.
• Ensuring records are kept on all employees' training records on GSE.
• Ensuring company vehicles are fueled and maintained.
• The movement and operation of GPU's from location to location.
• The movement of airstairs to and from the aircraft.
• Other duties as assigned by the local General/Assistant Manager
• Creates goals to meet operational standards, service levels, safety, costs, etc. Monitors performance against goals and takes corrective action when necessary.  
• Responsible for oversight and coordination of assigned station(s) to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance.
• Oversees station activities to ensure excellent customer service.
• Ensures compliance with Company policies and rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies. Travels to assigned stations on a regular basis.
• Builds effective partnerships with internal departments, outside vendors, contractors, business partners, communities and other business entities and identifies new business opportunities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. 

Qualifications

• Experience in airline leadership. 
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
