Responsibilities
- Familiarization with and training on all ground service equipment for company and vendor.
- Ensuring that company employees are properly trained on all equipment.
- Ensuring records are kept on all employees' training records on GSE.
- Ensuring company vehicles are fueled and maintained.
- The movement and operation of GPU's from location to location.
- The movement of airstairs to and from the aircraft.
- Other duties as assigned by the local General/Assistant Manager
- Creates goals to meet operational standards, service levels, safety, costs, etc. Monitors performance against goals and takes corrective action when necessary.
- Responsible for oversight and coordination of assigned station(s) to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance.
- Oversees station activities to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies and rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies. Travels to assigned stations on a regular basis.
- Builds effective partnerships with internal departments, outside vendors, contractors, business partners, communities and other business entities and identifies new business opportunities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
- Experience in airline leadership.
- Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
- Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
- Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
- Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
- Able to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
