Earnest is currently seeking a Business Operations Director for our division in Romulus, MI. We're looking for talented individuals with a proven ability to motivate, manage, and develop and grow our operations and sales team.
Job Description
The Business Operations Director will report to our Regional Vice President and work closely with our executive team to manage daily operations through effective leadership, direction, and motivation of all employees. This role has full P&L responsibility.
- Develop and maintain a yearly business plan that includes programs for improving company profitability.
- Maximize division profitability by implementing programs that optimize service and inventory management efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage strategic thinking to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships across organizational boundaries and lead/influence others to achieve common goals.
- Perform complex data analysis and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience in a GM or Director-level position required. Advanced degree a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership ability along with the ability to get results through others.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships and overcoming challenging cross-functional issues.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to write procedures using original techniques or style.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet software, order processing systems, project management software, and database software.
