The Opportunity
As a Manager in the Amended Return Center (“ARC”), we will look to you to apply your corporate income tax knowledge to a wide range of tax compliance engagements and support our US team in essential engagement processes. Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and high-quality work products to the senior manager team.
- Supervise a motivated team of professionals in our Global Delivery Services (“GDS”) team in India as a detail reviewer of tax returns.
- Provide review notes and guidance on returns, as well as mentoring and team-building support.
- Identify potential opportunities and risks while reviewing tax returns and communicate these to the senior manager team.
- Work on various special projects (such as tax research), when assigned.
- Analyze specific issues in the review of amended tax returns, based on ARC’s established process and guidance.
- Apply technical tax knowledge when questions from GDS staff arise.
- Follow up on the status of deliverables, analyze issues preventing completion, and work with others to problem-solve resolution.
- Execute tasks in continuous improvement projects to drive improved quality, visibility, efficiency and client experience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize engagements.
- Supervise US Senior Analysts, Assistant Managers, GDS staff, and / or GDS seniors working on the same engagement.
- Expectation of moderate overtime during ARC’s peak times (normally September through December).
- Ability to work independently from a remote location.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90,800 to $166,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,000 to $189,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
