Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources and Finance Generalist. This is a full-time professional level position responsible for performing technical work with accounting and human resources processes in accordance with state and federal laws. The position is responsible for updating and coordinating with all departments. The implementation of financial practices and reporting, processing payroll, and managing employee records and benefits. This position is supervised by the CFO.
Responsibilities
· Administer HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
· Recruits and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
· Manage day-to-day operations of Benary’s Finance department
· Proactively monitor bank accounts
· Collect payments and communicate with customers via telephone and email
· Manage the accounts payables including the transfer of documents to Germany
· Minimal out-of-state/country travel required
· Receive and review daily invoices
Qualifications
-A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Finance Management or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist and Finance or similar role within a corporate environment.
-Proficient verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
-Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and remain calm under pressure.
-Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and strict confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
